Where
did it all begin?
The
original and first manufactured product
"The Chi Machine" was developed by Dr. Shizuo Inoue, an amazing
medical visionary and inventor in Japan. Dr. Inoue has spent decades
researching the relationship between body movement and minor muscular
pain & tension caused by fatigue or overexertion. He was inspired
by watching goldfish swimming. Dr. Inoue thought that perhaps the steady
undulation causes the fish's whole body to be massaged and provided
it with some benefits.
Engineers took his basic concept and
created the technical design for the Chi Machine. "The
pattern of motion that the machine generates in the human body uses
minimum effort and achieves maximum results," says Dr. Inoue. "It
relaxes muscles locally, temporarily increases our comfort, adds temporary
relief to minor tension in muscles from fatigue or overexertion. It
can also increase our sense of comfort, through the temporary relief
of minor muscle pain and aches, due to fatigue or overexertion."
Since 1990, over one million Chi Machine have been

When
the human body is lying flat on a bed, the neck and waist are elevated.
When we are tired after working hard and then try to sleep in bed, our

waist-can rotate-just like a wheel on an axle. Anyone that has used

The ultimate wish of mankind is "maintaining
strong health and living forever." To focus on this theory, Dr.
Shizuo suggested an oxygen efficient health philosophy "efficient
use of oxygen will form a healthy body". This is the secret to
longevity. As matter of fact, the conclusion of many years of study
on health medicine is that the method is very simple and everyone can
apply this theory.
I have about 70 years of meditation experience. Currently,
I formed a Japanese Meditation Association. In order to supplement the
oxygen, we need to have correct posture with straight backbone, which
complies with the "gravity philosophy," focus Chi in the diaphragm,
and adjust breathing through correct attitude of mediation. I am ninety
four years old, I have good health, maintaining emotional stability,
clear minded. I feel deeply about the importance of oxygen to human
bodies.
Several
years ago, Dr Shizuo published a book titled "Oxygen Power Makes
Health." Two years ago a book titled "Oxygen Makes Brain Better"
was also published. After reading these two books, a lot of people agreed
with Dr. Shizuo's theory. Therefore Dr. Shizuo has made a great contribution
to the foundation of the modern oxygen efficient aerobic health exercise.
He can also be addressed as a guru of aerobic health theory.
Recently, the sudden death of young people has increased.
We do feel a sense of loss and regret, but what I really hoped for is
that by reading this book one can elevate public awareness on the contents
of healthy living and ultimately increase longevity. This will bring
meaningful contributions to the country and the society. Furthermore,
reading this book can also prevent senility. You will benefit from it
a great deal.
Preface
To maintain a healthy body, lead a happy life, and to live long are
the wishes and hopes of modern people with a high living standard. However,
how can we accomplish these wishes? Unfortunately, there is currently
the lack of a definitive good method.
Lately, one of the most popular topics of the New Living Medicine arena
concerning health is how to supplement the lack of oxygen. Examples
are aerobic exercise, yoga, Tai Chi, jogging, swimming, breathing method,
etc. However, these exercises alone can not prevent nor cure the diseases.
About twenty years ago, I suggested that the oxygen is the major source
of health, in other words, lack of oxygen is the root of all illness.
This is the foundation of Oxygen Health Theory, and also the result
of over forty years of study on health medicine.
The oxygen efficient
aerobic exercise mentioned in this book is very simple, use the minimum
amount of strength and achieve the maximum amount of exercise result,
which will improve the basic characteristics of the body.

efficient aerobic exercise can add the flexibility to our life, increase
energy, and improve attitude. It can also elevate the awareness of
our physical and spiritual beings.

One time I was at a train station platform, I saw
an old gentleman fall to the ground. At the time, his face was pale,
his breathing was week and interrupted, in other words, he was at the
brink of death. Immediately, I performed the oxygen efficient aerobic
exercise on him for about twenty to thirty minutes. The result, he breathe
out a big breath, and came back to life. His face was red, and it was
certain that he came back to life. A moment later, he thanked me profusely

and overeat.
Increase in height and density of building structures.
Common use of air conditioning, heating equipment causing the weakening
of the skin function.
Pollution of the air, contamination of the water supply, contamination
by the agricultural poisons, noise etc. are increasing, which caused
the quality of the living environment to worsen.
Increased use of food additives, and use of medicine.
Oxygen efficient aerobic exercise is the most suitable exercise that
a modern people can have. I am extremely comforted that I have the opportunity
to introduce the contents of oxygen efficient aerobic exercise through
the publication of this book. Of course, the objective is to ensure
that everyone can enjoy the philosophy of "maintaining good health,
longevity, and at the same time, lead a graceful and comfortable life.
Conclusion
It is only meaningful to lead a healthy, happy and comfortable life.
We as human beings always want to maintain good health, longevity, and
lead a graceful life.
Whether it is health, beauty, rejuvenation, clear
minded, or having a good fortune, these all are contributed to by oxygen.
Therefore, "an oxygen efficient body", is the secret to health
and longevity. This is the author's main philosophy of oxygen efficient
health.
During the author's younger years, my health was very
poor, therefore, having a healthy body has been a goal throughout my
life. In very coincidental opportunity, I met an entrepreneur of western
medical health founder Mr. Mitsura Saisyo. Twice, I practiced three-week
fast, over ten times I practiced one week fast, and led a vegetarian
diet life style for about three years. For the first time in my life,
I felt happiness come from the bottom of my heart. I really felt the
happiness of life.

Therefore for twelve years, I volunteered to be the
secretary to Mr. Mitsura from 1948 through 1959. Due to this experience,
I continually gained his instructions and knowledge and practiced his
health method. The result of this experience changed my life, to me
it is a great fortune, but the glory all belongs to Mr. Mitsura.
For thirteen years after 1959, I used the health auditorium Mr. Mitsura
left me. I instructed over tens of thousand of people on the health
method.
The conclusion I gained is "oxygen can cure diseases,
lack of oxygen is the root of all illness".
The originator of Buddhism Sakyamuni, in order to
solve four irremediable sufferings of mankind, child birth, aging, disease,
and death, led six years of ascetic self mortification, his hardship,
could not cure the suffering of the society. He finally gained the understanding
of the magic of breathing, and solved all the hardship mentioned. This
is documented on the Buddhism doctrine.
The breathing method mentioned here is to get rid of the waste product
internally and supplement with the oxygen.
As Sakyamuni indicated, breathing method not only
can open your eyes but also open your mind, also, it enables you to
observe from four sides and to hear from eight sides, in the mean time,
to understand the past and see the future, and let you see through people's
intention, therefore, increase the sensitivity physically and emotionally,
and possess super power. Based on this we further confirm the importance
of understanding oxygen supply.
Oxygen efficient aerobic exercise can be performed
at any time, at any place by anyone. And only through oxygen efficient
aerobic exercise can one realize the wonderful effect of this exercise.
I believe that performing oxygen efficient aerobic exercise on those
who are in sick bed will not only improve their health, but also give
them a bright future.
